The GNS Foundation was established in loving memory of our beloved mother, Mrs. Grace Sawyerr, a woman whose life was defined by compassion, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.
Throughout her life, she extended a helping hand to those in need, offering financial support, encouragement, and hope without expecting anything in return. She had a special place in her heart for widows, understanding the challenges they face and believing they deserved care, respect, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
After her passing, her children chose to honour her legacy by continuing the work she was so passionate about. The GNS Foundation was created to provide monthly financial assistance and support to widows, ensuring that her values of compassion and generosity continue to impact lives.
Every beneficiary we serve is a reflection of her enduring legacy. Through this foundation, we are committed to keeping her spirit of kindness alive—one family, one widow, and one act of generosity at a time.
Mrs. Grace Adebayo was born in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, where she spent her childhood surrounded by a close-knit family that instilled in her the values of honesty, compassion, and hard work.
From an early age, she displayed a caring spirit and a willingness to help others, qualities that would define her throughout her life.
Blessed with wonderful children, she devoted herself to raising a family grounded in strong values, teaching them the importance of integrity, kindness, and generosity.
A Life of Service
Mrs. Grace Adebayo believed that true success was measured by the lives we touch. She was known for her warm heart, open hands, and willingness to support anyone facing difficult circumstances.
Whether assisting widows, supporting children’s education, comforting grieving families, or simply offering words of encouragement, she gave selflessly and never sought recognition for her acts of kindness. Her generosity extended beyond financial support—she freely shared her time, wisdom, and compassion with everyone around her.
Her strong faith guided every aspect of her life, inspiring her to serve others with humility and love. She was actively involved in her church and local community, where she encouraged unity, cared for vulnerable families, and inspired others to give back whenever they could.
Her Legacy
Mrs. Grace Adebayo’s greatest legacy is not only the family she raised but also the values she instilled in them. Through her example, her children learned the importance of compassion, service, and giving without expecting anything in return.
Following her passing, they established the Grace of Hope Foundation to continue the work she was so passionate about. The foundation proudly bears her name as a lasting tribute to the life she lived and the countless people she inspired.
Today, every widow supported, every life encouraged, and every act of kindness carried out through the foundation reflects her enduring legacy of love, hope, and generosity.
